What do we offer?
OPEN PAINT: These classes allow you to choose from over 900 paintings hanging on our walls. Everyone does something different. We help and assist you where we can but we do not paint along with you. The time you see on the calendar is a START time. Doors open 20-30 minutes prior for you to come and pick out your inspiration. Weekend open paint classes can get very busy, so we recommend our weekday classes if you wish less in the studio. The Open paint Concept does not work the best for a private party.
Shattered Art and Glass Buffet: This is our most unique offering in our studio. You will… choose your design, paint it, glitter it if desired, pile it with glass and other fun stuff. After the class we seal everything on with Art Resin (the best stuff out there). You can pick it up usually in about 2-3 days.
Splatter Room: This is our newest addition to our studio. The experience takes about one hour. 15 to dress, 30 minutes to splatter, and 15 to clean up. Our Splatter room holds about 12 kids or 10 adults. You don’t need a huge group to do this. Anyone say date night? Birthday party packages are available too! Those run 2 hours with the first hour in the spatter room and the second hour for presents and cake/food.
Screen Classes: That is right, paint on a screen. This is a fun process and has amazing results. We offer hand made in our studio, prepared screens of our most popular designs ready to go at an open paint. We have about 40 designs to choose from.
Wine Glass Painting: This is a fun and a useful craft all in one. You will use special glass paint to paint your design onto wine glasses. Beer mugs may be available too.
Paint Pour: Acrylic paint pouring is gaining in popularity because the finished product is amazing! Simply choose your surface, colors and we walk you through the rest. Choose the regular seal (included in the price) or add on the Art Resin seal. Either way it is a fun yet unpredictable night.
Wood Signs: We offer wood signs in any design. Advance planning is required for personalized stencils or special designs of your choice. Prices depend on the size of the wood project.
What should I expect at a Paint Shack event?
A fun, social, group setting, with a social artist to guide you step by step in replicating the featured painting. By the end of the event, you will create a fabulous piece of artwork! Feel free to switch up the colors on your masterpiece. The event times vary but we suggest arriving 15 minutes early to get the seat of your choice. Events are 2 -2 1/2 hours with frequent breaks. We offer an apron to use, but you might want to wear something you don’t mind getting paint on. It does stain.

Prices vary depending on the size and project. It is always best to check the details of the Facebook event or the information on the website calendar event. We often have special prices for kids. Please see our Private party tab for those costs.

A refund can be provided if there is at least 24 hours notice. There is a $5 fee per person for a refund. We will happily reschedule your individual class at no charge.
Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay for painting class?
No, once you have clicked the Buy Now button on the calendar, it will take you to the Sign Up page, please look on the PayPal page and enter in your payment information instead of logging into Pay Pal. You can always pay at the studio, we accept cash, credit and check.
How many people do I need for a Private Event?
See our private party tab for all the details. Basically, you need 10 for a canvas/glass private party. If you don’t have 10, you can bring your gang to an open paint time.
How far will you travel for a Private Event?
It depends, call us for distance and pricing. 715-379-7377
Can I leave my child at a Kids Shack event?
Yes and no. It depends on the maturity level of your child. Parents are not required to paint and can enjoy watching their child participate. Adults may not paint at the kids price, but can paint at the adult price. At our summer art camps, the child usually does better if the parent leaves, however, we would never ever say a parent isn’t welcome to come and go or stay in our “blue room”.
Is there an age limit for the Paint Shack Events?
Yes. If the location is a bar, we do not allow anyone under the age of 21. Please note the location of the event you are registering for. If there are any questions regarding this, contact us for more information.
